Greenlight
The Need
The Greenlight banking and investing app for kids and teens put its Google returns at risk when it changed its domain name from Greelightcard.com to Greenlight.com. While the new name supported a financial literacy positioning far beyond debit cards, the specificity of the old URL gave it real authority on Google; it consistently came up in the top three results for kid card searches. Our job was to bring the same kind of authority to the new site, so Greenlight can become as prominent and relevant as the biggest brands in financial services.

How We Helped
We did a complete pre- and post-migration program. First, we audited the new website comprehensively to identify any broken links, bad page results, or technical bugs that could impede search results. Then we tested multiple variations of keywords and provided pre- and post-migration guidance. To do it, we ran onsite, offsite, technical best practices, tactical pre- and post-launch signal and metadata audits. We also provided ongoing SEO support and optimizations to facilitate continued organic growth.
