Acadia Co-Founder and CEO Jared Belsky has been featured in an AdAge industry article highlighting Acadia’s ongoing commitment to media transparency and ethical agency practices.
In the article, Belsky is recognized for leading Acadia's initiative to return media rebates: payments agencies receive from publishers for hitting spending targets, directly to the 53 clients whose spending qualified them to receive one.
While the practice of agencies retaining these rebates has long been standard across the industry, Acadia is taking a different approach, distributing the full six-figure sum back to its clients.
“Our ability to get that rebate in the first place has everything to do with us being stewards of our clients’ money. It reasons to us that our clients should then get back those dollars,” said Belsky.
The feature also highlights Acadia's broader educational campaign, including the launch of itsyourrebate.com, designed to inform marketers, procurement teams, and media leaders about how rebates work and what questions they should be asking their agencies.
The recognition further cements Acadia's position as a leading voice for accountability and reform in the media industry.
